Overview: Role: Floor TechnicianPay Rate: $12.00/hour Note: This role covers multiple locations and will require you to have reliable transportation in order to travel between locations as needed.Join Platinum Cleaning & Facility Services (PCFS), a division of Healthcare Services Group, Inc., as an Floor Technician, where you will oversee janitorial cleaning and facilities maintenance operations at your assigned primary site. If you share our commitment to excellence and enhancing customer and resident experiences, join us and make a difference!Floor Technicians perform day-to-day cleaning tasks related to flooring in common areas and tenant suites, etc. Overall duties will include sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, buffing, stripping, waxing, carpet shampooing and extracting, and responding to all cleaning emergencies. Evening Floor Technicians must be organized, dedicated, and able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously. You will work with management to create an effective cleaning schedule, which will include your day-to-day routines and work timetable. Strip and wax floors. Spot cleaning and full carpet extraction/shampoo. Project work such as cleaning lights, lamps, window washing, etc. Assist with work orders as needed. Cover floors when employees call off. Clean stairwells, signage, etc. Assist with checking floors. Clean escalators, elevators. Use miscellaneous flooring equipment as needed. Skills Required Be able to adapt and work as a team to ensure daily tasks, project work, requests and work orders are completed on time and within company expectations. Be polite and respectful with clients, guests, and co-workers. Experience - Some experience is preferred. Ability to be able to learn how to operate heavy equipment such as floor scrubber, buffer, etc. Education - Must be 18 years of age. Physical Requirements Ability to lift items of up to 35 lbs. while moving around and perform other physical duties (i.e., climb ladder, lifting, bending).
