A Skilled Nursing Facility is hiring a Business Office Manager (BOM)/Medicaid Coordinator in Monsey, NY. Position Overview:A skilled nursing facility in the Monsey, NY region is looking for a detail-oriented Medicaid Coordinator to assist residents and families with financial obligations and insurance processes, while supporting billing and admissions operations. Key Responsibilities: Meet with residents and families to discuss financial responsibilities Assist in gathering documentation for Medicaid applicants Enter census data into billing and clinical systems Manage collection of private pay and income monies owed to the facility Support insurance authorization processes Distribute resident funds appropriately Ensure all admission agreements are properly signed Perform other related duties as needed Qualifications: Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and HMO processes preferred Comfortable discussing financial matters with residents and families Proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office applications Highly organized with strong attention to detail
