Charter is looking for an experienced and people-focused HR Service Center Lead to play a critical role in shaping our employee experience.This is more than a support role—it’s a leadership opportunity to influence how HR services are delivered across the organization. When you join us, you become a trusted voice and a strategic driver of continuous improvement that keeps our business running smoothly and our employees thriving.What You'll DoLead and support the daily operations of the HR Service Center team.Provide guidance on complex HR inquiries related to benefits, payroll, timekeeping, recruiting, policies, and more.Coordinate team workloads to ensure timely and consistent service within defined SLAs.Serve as a key liaison between HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) and the business.Maintain knowledge bases and documentation to support a seamless employee experience.Partner with Payroll to streamline processes and improve service delivery.Coach and mentor team members while supporting onboarding and development.Champion process improvements that enhance efficiency and consistency.What You BringRequired:Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.6+ years in HR, Shared Services, or as an HR Business Partner.Strong customer service background and the ability to handle complex, cross-functional inquiries.Organizational skills to manage team workflow and priorities effectively.Clear communication skills—both written and verbal.Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).Preferred:Master’s degree in HR or Business.Experience working in a decentralized HR environment.Familiarity with HR ticketing systems and shared service delivery models.Proven track record in leading or supporting process improvement initiatives.Ability to build trust and influence across all levels of an organization.What to ExpectYou'll be joining a collaborative HR team dedicated to excellence in service delivery.
