Security Officer - Graveyard Shift Former military / law enforcement encouraged to apply!!Location: Colorado Springs, CORate: $17.50/HourSchedule: Friday-Sunday 6 p.m. - 6 a.m.At Securitas, on-site Security Officers are the foundation of our organization. Our Officers are trained to provide a high level of professionalism and specialization for their assignments, help safeguard people, property, and information.The ideal candidates we are seeking will be reliable, accountable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic while adhering to our core values: Integrity, Vigilance, & Helpfulness.What Your Day May Look Like:Conduct internal patrol and/or external mobile patrol.  Monitor entrance/exits  Complete daily activity (DAR), incident reports and logs via Securitas and client systems. Provide an atmosphere in which all site visitors, client, and Management know their needs are being met. Operates in a calm manner and directs persons who cause disruption to leave property. Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations; sets up barriers and signage, and provides direction or information to others. Observes and reports incidents or suspicious activity to client, Company Management, or public safety authorities as appropriate for the circumstances and/or as required by the site. High School Diploma or GED required. Must have great attention to detail and can remain vigilant throughout shift. Must have Grave shift availability. Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus.  Intermediate computer/technology skills needed. Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills. Must have reliable transportation, Colorado Driver’s License and clean driving record due to required mobile patrol. Must be able to obtain Colorado Springs Guard Card license and maintain it every year.  Must be able to attend in-person interview, and in-person orientation if hired in Colorado Springs.
