We tell the Genworth and CareScout stories with conviction and consistency, and we work together to define, develop, and amplify content that inspires older adults to choose us as a trusted partner in navigating the aging journey.We are looking for a Senior Director of Brand to further develop and lead our brand management efforts, including graphic design, organic social, media relations, associate brand advocacy, and partnerships for both the Genworth and CareScout brands. This proven people leader will also drive our enterprise thought leadership efforts, including our annual Cost of Care Survey and other new and existing platforms that support a broader national conversation on long-term care. Strong candidates will bring both comfort and enthusiasm for big-picture thinking and tactical execution, a customer orientation, exceptional communication skills, a proven ability to cultivate strong relationships, a passion for developing talent, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, heavily matrixed environment. This role will report to the Chief Marketing Officer.What you will be doingDeveloping and leading the implementation of a brand strategy for both the Genworth and CareScout brandsDeveloping a strategy for and securing sponsorship/partnership opportunities that advance our brandsExpanding our thought leadership platforms to address care considerations beyond cost and partnering with cross-functional teams to bring them to lifeOverseeing the development and implementation of our:Organic social media and community management strategyMedia relations strategyVisual identity system and graphic design process Associate brand advocacy programExternal recognition strategyMeasuring brand equity and net promoter score trends, in partnership with the operating businessesOwning the strategy and ongoing evolution of our annual Cost of Care survey and surrounding territoriesLeading and developing a team of brand and marketing professionalsProviding strategic brand counsel to the Chief Marketing Officer, as well as Genworth and CareScout senior leadership, as neededDeveloping and managing budgets and ensuring oversight of external vendor partnerships in alignment with the overall strategyOther duties as assignedWhat you bring15+ years of brand development experience, including graphic design, media relations, partnerships, and/or social media7+ years of people leadership experience on a marketing or brand teamProven ability to lead high performing teams in dynamic environmentsA passion for coaching, providing timely feedback, and developing talentExceptional written and oral communication skillsTrusted with highly confidential information and known for professionalismSkilled in processing complex information, identifying key insights, executing with precision and exceptional time managementExperience using SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, and other Microsoft 365 appsEmployee Benefits & Well-BeingGenworth employees make a difference in people’s lives every day. In addition to your base salary, you will also be eligible to participate in an incentive plan. The incentive plan is based on performance and the target earning opportunity is 25% of your base compensation. The final determination on base pay for this position will be based on multiple factors at the time of this job posting including but not limited to geographic location, experience, and qualifications to ensure pay equity within the organization.
