Maintenance Mechanic

What this job involves:As a Building Maintenance Mechanic, you will support our operations team by performing various maintenance tasks throughout the facility. You'll handle everything from lighting system upkeep to equipment repairs, ensuring all building systems function properly. This role requires technical skills, physical capabilities, and the ability to respond to after-hours emergencies.Your day-to-day tasks will include:Maintaining lighting systems including bulb and ballast replacementsPerforming HVAC/R maintenance such as coil cleaning and evaporator servicingConducting minor plumbing repairs and maintenanceSupporting kitchen equipment functionality (meat grinders, cubers, saws, slicers, etc.)Completing special projects including painting, locksmith work, and tenant service requestsDocumenting work performance and tracking materials procurementMaintaining compliance with safety procedures and regulatory requirementsDesired experience and technical skillsRequirements:Valid state driver's licenseMinimum one year experience in general building repair, basic plumbing, and electrical workAbility to lift 80+ pounds and use ladders up to 30 feetPhysical capability for frequent climbing, bending, kneeling, and liftingExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishHigh school diploma or GED equivalentAbility to pass background, drug/alcohol, and MVR screeningPreferred:Completion of an applicable technical training programSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently or in teamsMechanical and electrical aptitudeExperience with building system maintenance and repairs#HVACjobs
