Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our facilities management team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our building systems through preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections.Responsibilities:Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other installed systems and equipmentReplace lighting and ballasts as neededConduct facility inspections and report on conditions affecting client occupancy and operationsFollow all safety procedures and maintain clean, safe work areasIdentify and propose solutions for safety hazardsComplete required safety trainingComply with policies for safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materialsUpdate work order status in real-time using CMMS systems (WebTMA)Escalate problems or issues to customers and managers promptlyPerform other tasks as assignedMaintain effective communication with team members and clientsQualifications:Minimum requirements:2+ years of applicable working experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and basic electricalPhysical requirements:Lifting up to 50 lbs.Working from heightsFrequently climbing, bending, lifting, kneeling, stooping, and working/extending overheadWorking in adverse conditions (i.e., extreme cold, extreme hot)Climbing a ladder up to 15 feet​Preferred requirements:Strong Customer Service skillsStrong Interpersonal skills
