Technical Accounting and Reporting Manager ($110,000 – $145,000) We are looking for an Technical Accounting and Reporting Manager to be based in the metropolitan Atlanta, GA area. (Remote-work position with occasional travel for face-to-face meetings). The Technical Accounting and Reporting Manager is responsible for consolidating the financial results of the entities under TL Vista Merger Parent Corporation, preparing accurate financial reports/filings in compliance with the company’s accounting policies, accounting standards (US GAAP), and regulatory requirements. This position works closely with finance and accounting leadership across the organization, third-party tax advisors, third-party registered agents, and the company’s audit firm, to ensure financial statements/filings are timely, complete, and accurate. SKILLS YOU BRING: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required, master’s degree in accounting preferred CPA eligible or license required At least six years of progressive accounting/reporting experience, including public accounting (Big 4 or national firm preferred) at the experienced senior level (~4 years). Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP and SOX compliance. Experience with FASB’s Private Company Council (PCC) framework preferred. Experience in a high-growth or public company environment required. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and written/verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong project management skills. Proficiency with ERP systems and reporting tools. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: Technical Accounting: Research, interpret, and implement complex accounting issues in accordance with US GAAP. When indicated, draft/update technical accounting memos to support the Company’s accounting positions. Monitor and assess compliance with ASC 842, ASC 606, ASC 326, ASC 440/450, ASC 705, as well as other accounting standards in practice. Implement new accounting standards. Provide accounting guidance for significant transactions including M&A (ASC 805), debt/equity financing, leases, and revenue arrangements. Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements and footnotes in compliance with GAAP. Manage annual external reporting processes/audit calendar. Act as key liaison with external auditors and prepare audit documentation for internal controls over financial reporting. Other Duties: Review and approve all lease-related accounting transactions and serve as the system administrator for the Company’s lease software, Visual Lease. Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures for all entities within the consolidated parent company. Partner with cross-functional teams to identify business initiatives/opportunities that can be affected by technical accounting pronouncements and chosen accounting positions. Train internal teams on new or complex accounting topics. Lead or support special products such as system implementations, due diligence, and post-acquisition working capital reviews.
