You will be a key player in the Life team’s multi-year project to modernize legacy financial reporting models and peripheral processes. You will also manage inforce management objectives and financial reporting processes.What you will be doingLead efforts to evaluate current UL projection processes and analysis tools and collaborate cross-functionally to build new framework alongside conversion to AXIS projection modelManage inforce management objectives including company’s annual inforce review routine non-guaranteed elements assessmentSupport the annual assumption review process through the evaluation of impacts related to potential assumption changesCollaborate across Life team and lead inforce analytic and special project initiatives such as source of earnings analysis developmentSupport completion of financial reporting processes including statutory cash flow testing and Actuarial Guideline 38 8C/DDemonstrate leadership on team and provide guidance and mentorship to junior associatesWhat you bringBA/BS degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fieldFSA or ASA with commensurate experience (i.e., 7+ years of relevant experience within actuarial or insurance industry)5+ years of life insurance experienceExperience with and knowledge of GAAP, Statutory and Tax financial reporting requirementsExperience with actuarial modeling software (AXIS or ALFA) preferredExperience in Microsoft Office applicationsExcellent communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage concurrent deadlines and multiple priorities in an organized mannerResults-oriented team player who works well in a professional environmentEmployee Benefits & Well-BeingGenworth employees make a difference in people’s lives every day. The incentive plan is based on performance and the target earning opportunity is 25% of your base compensation.  The final determination on base pay for this position will be based on multiple factors at the time of this job posting including but not limited to geographic location, experience, and qualifications to ensure pay equity within the organization.
