Lead Mobile HVAC Technician

What this job involves:This role is for a lead HVAC technician who will serve as the team expert in HVAC/R systems, providing technical leadership and guidance to the Mobile Engineering Services team. You'll travel between multiple client facilities, overseeing preventive maintenance programs, responding to emergencies, conducting quality assurance inspections, and ensuring optimal operation of all building mechanical systems while maintaining client satisfaction and safety compliance.Your day-to-day tasks will include:Serve as team expert providing technical guidance and support for all HVAC/R repairs and servicesPerform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, and building automation systemsConduct weekly on-site Quality Assurance inspections of maintained facilities and prepare technical evaluation reportsRespond effectively to emergency service calls and coordinate mobile team resources as neededAssist in managing Mobile Engineering Services (MES) team resources and work order prioritiesMaintain liaison with Operations Manager regarding job completion dates, priorities, and critical building issuesUpdate work order status in real-time using CMMS systems such as CorrigoComplete hazard assessments, maintain safety compliance, and attend required training seminarsSubmit daily P-card receipts and prepare monthly/quarterly operations and mechanical reportsDesired experience and technical skills:Requirements:High School diploma or GED equivalentMinimum of 6 years of technical and supervisory experience in building engineeringMinimum of 4 years technical experience in packaged HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and equipment repair/maintenanceStrong background in technical aspects of HVAC/R and building maintenanceValid state driver's license and ability to perform Vehicle Safety InspectionUniversal CFC recovery certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)Strong customer service and interpersonal skillsAbility to lift up to 80 lbs and work in adverse conditionsMust be available for on-call workPreferred:Two years of trades school or documented apprenticeship in electrical systems, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing or other craft skills3rd Party CertificationWorking knowledge of computer applications including Word and ExcelExperience with building automation systems and fire/life safety systemsKnowledge of overall system design and applications#HVACJobs
