About the Role: The Warehouse Associate/Driver is a position that is responsible for driving materials and equipment to project locations which are subject to cross state lines and may require overnight stays. This position also supports all aspects the daily warehouse operations. Ability to be insured under Company policy. This position will be through Local 55 Union. Essential FunctionsComplete deliveries by processing requests and supply ordersReceive and fill orders Responsible for transporting tools/materials and equipment/heavy equipment to various project locationsDrive company vehicles to pick up and deliver materialOvernight stays may be required, depending on where the delivery is locatedAbility to permit their own loadsComplete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging, assembly and transportation of materialsLoad and unload materials to and from designated storage area, such as racks, shelves, or vehiclesMay be required to load or unload truck and/or trailers; may be assisted by a helperComplete and maintain inventoriesComplete warehouse reports by entering required informationMaintain safe and secure warehouse environment by adhering to organization standards and practices as well as regulatory requirementsFollow company safety policies and proceduresMaintain condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, product in correct location, etc.)Other duties as assignedRegular and predictable attendanceEssential functions of this position are to be performed in a Company-designated office or field locationUnderstand and comply with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other industry-specific professional and ethical conduct standards About You: QualificationsExperience driving larger vehicles 20’+ up to 26,000lbs GVWClass A CDL or ability to obtain Class A CDL within 6 months (able to assist)Minimum 2 years of warehouse operations experience; experience in electric construction environment is preferredExperience with tool/material tracking databasesHigh school diploma or GED is requiredKnowledge/Skills/AbilitiesAbility to read & interpret documents such as packing lists, shipping manifests, and procedures manualsBasic proficiency with MS Office SuiteAttention to detailMust be able to operate vehicles with air brakesMust have ability to operate a stake bed with a lift gatePhysical Requirements/Working ConditionsHeavy lifting is required What We Offer: Compensation & BenefitsThis will be a union position. Wage depends on experience and certifications, and benefits are detailed within the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
