Service Design and Engineering Director

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Service Design and Engineering Director to join our team in Annapolis Junction, MD.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Directs and leads a premiere organization of SMEs providing expert support to Field Service Operations charged with delivery of services in the customer’s extended enterprise within a strict SLA environment (Teams: Desktop Engineering, Networks, Cable, Unified Communications, Solution Architecture and Project Management)Collaborate with fellow Frame Leads to design, maintain and/or improve supported servicesWill oversee the production of Technical Insertion submission, SOWs and resource requirement documents for SME-level support as neededOversees selection and testing of hardware for new requirements and replacement of EOL hardware, and associated software as requiredParticipate in Opportunity for Improvement efforts to improve servicesConduct or direct interviews to maintain sufficient staffing levelsSupport refresh, Walkout, CSIR, engineering support/field testing, enterprise SLA support and other duties as assignedMay have the opportunity to travel as required to meet program objectivesMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree with 7+ years of technical leadership experienceAbility to convey very technical concepts to non-technical individuals in both verbal and written formatsPossesses an understanding of Information Assurance, desktop deployment, network and unified communication principles and conceptsPreferred Qualification: CompTIA Security+ CertificationCertified Scrum Master (CSM)IT ticket management system experience (ServiceNow).Experience with large scale enterprise IT contracts.Clearance Requirements:Must have a current/active TS/SCI with PolyPhysical Requirements:The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to collaborate with other leaders/teams, use standard office automation equipment, and virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
