Aspire Bakeries champions the values of Integrity, Ownership, Customer Focus, Creativity and Care to help us deliver on People Safety, Food Safety, Quality and Collaboration.   Responsibilities: Food Safety & Quality Compliance - Ensure adherence to company food safety standards, quality objectives, and global policies while identifying and addressing non-conforming materials and products. Preventive Controls & Hazard Management - Support hazard analysis programs and participate in risk-based preventive controls to eliminate biological, chemical, physical, and economically motivated hazards from food products. Manufacturing Standards Verification - Verify compliance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), Critical Control Points (HACCP), and company-specific quality control procedures through inspections and monitoring. Testing & Documentation - Conduct sampling, testing, sensory evaluations, and maintain accurate documentation of quality management systems, including traceability and record-keeping procedures. Cross-Functional Collaboration - Participate in pre-operational inspections, communicate safety concerns to supervision, and coordinate with manufacturing teams to ensure adherence to quality standards. Training & Continuous Improvement - Complete required food safety and quality assurance training programs and stay current with company policies and industry regulations. Operational Support - Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall food safety and quality objectives within the bakery operation. Qualifications: A high school diploma or GED is requries. Some college science courses or experience in the food industry preferred.  2+ years of manufacturing experience in a food safety position. Certified in HARPC (Hazard Analysis and Risk-based Preventive Controls), Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) standard such as BRC or SQF or ability to obtain certification within one year. Equipment and food knowledge and troubleshooting ability. Ability to operate scales, metal detection and imaging devices, ovens and other instrumentation and measuring devices. Proficient computer skills including experience with SAP, MS Outlook & Excel. Internal Auditor Training preferred.   Shift: 3rd     Aspire Bakeries is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
