Role Overview: Sodexo is hiring an Executive Chef for Medford school district in Medford, Oregon.  As Executive Chef 1, you will utilize local and organic ingredients when available to create mouthwatering dishes that delight our guests. Picture yourself in our dynamic kitchen, overseeing multiple locations and catering. You will be the driving force behind our culinary operations, ensuring that our line cooks deliver perfection on each plate. What You'll Do: Manage our cohesive team, who enjoy working togetherTrain, develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovationsTake ownership for the Menus, taking the reins and being able to provide true leadershipEnsure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implementedManage innovative menu concepts while staying within budget and far exceeding the student expectations  Effectively manage purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting What We Offer: Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. Qualifications & Requirements: Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experienceMinimum Management Experience - 2 years Minimum Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
