This role is essential to supporting the electrical operations of our Test Lab and ensuring the safe and efficient performance of facility equipment.What We Offer:Competitive pay$1,500 sign-on bonusPaid vacation, holidays, and sick timeComprehensive benefits from day one (medical, dental, vision, 401K)On-the-job and cross-training opportunitiesCollaborative team environmentSafety-first culture (Zero Harm policy)Employee discount programsWhat You’ll Do:Install, repair, and replace electrical circuitry and componentsSupport product testing and troubleshoot electrical issuesPerform facility equipment maintenance and repairsBuild electrical enclosures and perform voltage tap changes on VFD drivesWork from schematics, drawings, and test request documentsEnsure compliance with electrical codes and safety policiesUse tools such as voltage meters, wire strippers, soldering irons, and hand drillsWhat You Bring:Minimum 4 years of experience working with high voltages (required)Journeyman-level qualification preferred but not requiredAbility to use trade tools and test equipmentStrong critical thinking and teamwork skillsFamiliarity with electrical codes and safety proceduresAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and work with lightweight materialsWillingness to travel occasionally to the Grantley Plant in York, PAAdditional Requirements:Completion of a 120-day training program covering safety and technical competenciesUnderstanding of Health & Safety and Environmental policiesAbility to identify hazards and recommend solutionsJoin Johnson Controls and be part of a team that’s building a smarter, healthier, and more sustainable future.
