We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsThe Surgical Technologist First Assistant (CSTFA) provides care during the perioperative phase and maintains a high level of communication, collaboration, and interaction with physicians and other health team members. Will perform CSFA interventions under the direction and supervision of the operating surgeon in accordance with the NBSTSA and state scope of practice requirements consistent with the mission of the hospital. What qualifications you will need:Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start dateCurrent certification with the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting or American Board of Surgical Assists Required, CSTFA preferredGraduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology requiredCompleting of coursework in First Assistant including didactic and preceptor training requiredMinimum 2 years of OR experience required Committed to the care and improvement of human life, Medical City Healthcare aims to deliver excellence - providing the highest quality, cost-effective healthcare in the communities it serves.
