HVAC Technician - 2nd Shift

What this job involves: As an HVAC Technician at JLL, you will be essential to maintaining optimal indoor environments across our managed properties. This role focuses on the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems that keep our clients' facilities comfortable and energy efficient. You will apply specialized technical knowledge to diagnose complex issues, perform preventative maintenance, and implement solutions that extend equipment life while optimizing performance. Your expertise directly contributes to JLL's commitment to operational excellence, sustainability initiatives, and exceptional client service, making you a valuable member of our facilities management team.What your day-to-day will look like:Install, maintain, and repair various HVAC equipment including chillers, boilers, air handlers, and ventilation systemsConduct preventative maintenance inspections and servicing according to established schedulesDiagnose mechanical issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniquesRespond to emergency service calls and resolve temperature control problemsMonitor building automation systems to ensure optimal HVAC performance and energy efficiencyDocument all maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications in detailCollaborate with the engineering team to implement system improvements and energy-saving measuresWork Schedule: Monday through Friday, 3PM-11PMRequired Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training in HVAC systems required3+ years of experience in commercial HVAC installation, maintenance, and repairEPA Universal Certification for handling refrigerantsStrong knowledge of mechanical and electrical components of HVAC systemsExperience with building automation systems and controlsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manualsValid driver's license with clean driving recordPreferred Qualifications:Associate's degree in HVAC technology or related fieldNATE certification or other industry-recognized HVAC credentialsExperience with energy management systems and sustainable building practicesKnowledge of indoor air quality standards and practicesFamiliarity with computerized maintenance management systemsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent communication and customer service abilities#HVACjobs
