Mobile HVAC/ Maintenance Technician

Job Title: Mobile Building EngineerWhat this job involves: As a Mobile Building Engineer, you'll be responsible for operating, inspecting, and maintaining all HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment across assigned facilities. Your role focuses on maximizing equipment efficiency and lifespan while ensuring energy-efficient, safe operations with minimal downtime. You'll perform both preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on building systems, conduct facility inspections, and maintain compliance with all safety regulations and local codes.Your day-to-day tasks will include: • Performing ongoing preventive maintenance and responding to repair work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, and other building systems• Maintaining, operating, and repairing all HVAC systems, electrical distribution equipment, and plumbing systems• Conducting facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on conditions that impact client occupancy and operations• Responding effectively to all building-related emergencies and after-hours activities• Preparing and submitting summary reports to management with recommendations for necessary actions• Operating building automation systems, fire/life safety systems, and other specialized building equipment• Maintaining compliance with State, County, and City ordinances, codes, and laws• Ensuring proper safety procedures and housekeeping in all work areas• Attending periodic training seminars and supporting operational tasks as assignedDesired experience and technical skills:Requirements:• Universal EPA 608 Certification• Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in building engineering with a strong background in packaged HVAC, plumbing, and electrical equipment repair and maintenance• Valid state driver's license (must maintain)• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and climb up to 30 ft. ladders• Availability to perform on-call duties and overtime as requiredPreferred:• Knowledge of overall MEP/HVAC system design and application• Experience managing work orders and utilizing CMMS technology• Experience working in a service-related role specific to commercial facilities#HVACjobs
