This position will be a full-time contract and on-site in Arden, North Carolina.This is a 1st shift position Monday-Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm.This position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, person granted asylee status in the U.S., or person admitted into the U.S. as a refugee. What You’ll Do Responsible for the safe operation of assigned high-speed large-scale automated assembly machinesMakes complex repairs and major adjustments to assembly equipment, including set-ups and changeoversPerforms quality checks per the quality inspection plan (QIP), documents specified measurements per print at required intervalsPerforms daily/weekly/monthly preventive and routine machine maintenancePerforms tooling adjustment (e.g., sharpening/conditioning, checking height of spring-loaded pins (pin-ou), keying features, bend stations, insertion stations)Replaces sensors, punches, dies, stock components, air cylinders, belts, etc.Adjusts housing feed based on associated standardsUses height indicator, ram optic, gauges and microscopic visual checksIdentifies and re-sets machine faults, clears jams, restarts production, removes and packages finished product   What You'll Need RequiredHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent Physical Demands Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods, use hands for fine motor tasks such as handling or feeling objects, reach with arms and hands, and communicate effectively through speech and hearingThe role also requires the ability to handle small components under a microscope for prolonged durationsRegular physical demands include lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds routinely, up to 25 pounds frequently, and occasionally up to 50 poundsSafety shoes are requiredThe pay range for this position is $17.61 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will include medical coverage as well as 401k retirement account access.
