As a member of the Health Support Center (HSC) team, you'll support those that are in our facilities who are interfacing and providing care to our patients and community members to positively impact our mission of making communities healthier®.More about our teamOur LBS Credentialing team ensures our healthcare providers meet all federal, state, and accreditation requirements to deliver the highest quality of care. We partner with facility medical staff offices, regulatory bodies, and providers to maintain timely, accurate, and compliant credentialing processes.How you'll contributeA Specialist, LBS Credentialing who excels in this role will:Maintain compliance with regulatory, accrediting, and membership-based organizationsProcess initial and re-appointment application packages in MD-Staff within established timelinesEnsure healthcare professionals meet federal, state, and NCQA standardsCollaborate closely with medical staff offices at each facilityMonitor and update provider medical licenses and malpractice insuranceEnsure timely renewals of licenses and certifications, following up when neededCommunicate with Medical Staff Personnel (MSP) to obtain and update provider informationMaintain and monitor databases with provider education, training, experience, and licensure dataServe as a primary point of contact with providers for credentialing recordsPerform other duties as assignedWhy join usWe believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
