What you will be doingResponsible for supporting business needs by leading/coordinating project builds, developing solutions, and establishing clean documentationRecommend system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development, emerging new technologies and off-the-shelf alternativesLead development and oversees testing while managing changes for supported applications including the managing and distribution of team assignmentsTranslate simple and complex user stories into functional and actionable software. Create visual representations of logical business processesTriage, troubleshoot, and fix production problems as they arise by brainstorming the best possible solution, while understanding the impact of system downtime and SLAsCollaborate with teams that are geographically dispersed among different locations and time zones ​What you bringA strong background in developing and delivering solutionsBachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent certificationsMinimum 5 years experience in Application Development and data technologies/design6+ years of experience programming in Java, and web development frameworks (Angular, React)4+ years of experience in developing, supporting, and consuming RESTful services and microservicesExperience with data visualization & analytics toolsGood understanding of Software Engineering principlesFlexibility and proven ability to deliver with constantly changing prioritiesContinuous process improvement mindsetUnderstanding of health care or insurance businesses, products, services, and operationsExperience with cloud technologies (Azure or AWS) is a plus ​The base salary pay range for this role starts at a minimum rate of $91,800 up to the maximum of $166,000. In addition to your base salary, you will also be eligible to participate in an incentive plan.
