Please visit for more information. We are looking for an experienced Senior Brand Manager eager to join an endearing opportunity in a dynamic pharma company. The successful candidate will consolidate and further evolve the development and execution of the haematology/oncology brand strategy and operational marketing programmes in Italy. He/she will report to the Business Unit Head and will collaborate with cross functional partners across the organization as a key member of the Italian Brand Team.This role will demand a leader with a vision of what "best in class" marketing looks like and the drive, energy and ambition to build this capability in the Italian haematology/oncology marketing area. The role will require high levels of leadership, cross functional collaboration and influencing skills as well as an agility to work both strategically and operationally and to work independently with extensive international exposure. Essential FunctionsPrimary activities include, but are not limited to:Job Responsibilities and Requirements:Drive the development and implementation of the commercial plan for haem/onc products in Italy to optimize current performance and launch readiness for future assets:Based on robust market insights, develop key strategic prioritiesMaintain focus on the agreed key strategic priorities targeting all groups of HCPsMonitor the implementation of the product plan, course correcting where requiredAnticipate future trends in market dynamics, therapeutic approaches and healthcare professional needs and adapt strategies and plans accordinglyFurther build the reputation of Jazz Pharmaceuticals as a partner in haem/oncBuild collaborative relationships with key opinion leaders and relevant societiesDevelop and implement programs and materials that support field based professionals, from insights gathered through market research, customers and the fieldEnsure all internal and external materials and programs are reviewed and approved in accordance with Jazz Pharmaceuticals procedures and meet the needs of our customersCongress management and CME/Medical education planning and executionOperate within agreed budgets ensuring optimal investment of promotional resources:Deliver effective financial planning and control in the preparation and execution of the planWork with the finance team to ensure that planned expense estimates are accurate and regularly updated to reflect deviations from planManages external vendors / agencies and leads day-to-day operational projects to ensure high quality outputs and value for moneyEffective collaboration with Sales, Medical and Market Access cross functional partnersDrive and Engage the overall organization on products strategy and tacticsLead and challenge the organization on products positioning, strategy implementation and tactics executionEffective collaboration with the EUR/INT Marketing teamsProvide insights and input into the development of the EUR/INT marketing plansLiaises with EUR/INT to share standard methodologies and market best practicesBehave ethically, responsibly and professionally in accordance with Jazz Pharmaceuticals values and local codes of practiceEnsure compliance with all applicable Laws, Codes, corporate standards and Procedures related to his/her area of relevance/responsibility, in particular the requirements of the Jazz Pharmaceuticals Code of ConductRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Expertise in pharmaceutical marketing ideally in haematology and/or oncology or specialty pharmaceuticals, working in an orphan or rare disease context would be a plusUnderstanding of medical aspects of therapeutic area along with willingness to develop in-depth expertiseAbility to function at strategic and operational levels with a pragmatic hands on approachAbility to drive projects forward to completionProven ability to 'partner' successfully with broad cross-functional teamsExcellent  oral and written  communication  skills, including presentations  to large groupsAttention to detail and ability to understand, interpret and explain clinical dataHighly motivated, enthusiastic and inspirationalExcellent problem solving and decision making skills to identify, understand and propose plans to address business issues and opportunitiesProven experience in launches in specialty/rare diseases areasAbility to set goals, priorities activities, and establish/meet challenging timelinesWorks well and delivers under pressureGood English level spoken/writtenRequired/Preferred Education and LicensesBachelor's Degree or equivalent (Life Science preferred) Jazz Pharmaceuticals is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any characteristic protected by law.
