The objective is to sell ski boots and foot beds and make modifications in and out of the boot to enhance the comfort and performance of the ski, snowboard and any other athletic footwear presented. This position will also assist with sales of additional hard goods available. Full-time and part-time seasonal positions available. This role is compensated at $23.00/hour.ESSENTIAL DUTIES Assess skiers or riders' alignment through visual evaluation and physiological methodsAnalyze basic foot functions relative to boot shape kinesiology and stanceUnderstand techniques for boot modifications, stance alignment protocolsAbility to present educational discussions on biomechanicsDemonstrate modifications to buyersFabrication of custom foot bedsAdditional daily store dutiesEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Education: High School Diploma, or equivalent, requiredExperience: Previous experience in the ski/snowboard industry, preferredPrevious boot fitting experience, preferredQUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTSCustomer service skillsStrong computer literacySelf-motivatedStrong communication, and organizational skillsPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS This position may be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations.
