Our client, a leader in the trade compliance industry, is seeking an Import Specialist to join their team. As an Import Specialist, you will be part of the Trade Compliance department supporting the Measurement Solutions team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering quality products, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Import Specialist Location: Shakopee, MN What's the Job? Coordinate all aspects of the USMCA process, including supplier solicitation and product qualification reviews. Create and manage a system for USMCA data management. Prepare correspondence to vendors requesting USMCA information for raw materials. Support suppliers with USMCA-related inquiries and concerns. Assist in creating USMCA certifications for finished products manufactured by Measurement Solutions. What's Needed? Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience; High School Diploma required. 5+ years of experience in U.S. Imports with specialized knowledge in Free Trade Agreements, particularly USMCA. Subject Matter Expert in U.S. Import Rules and Regulations. Strong understanding of import processes and Free Trade Agreements. Proficient in using HTSUS codes and USMCA rules of origin.
