We are looking for a dedicated EP Technologist like you to be a part of our team.Job Summary and QualificationsElectrophysiology Technologists demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, a range of treatments, and care for patients. They can scrub and assist the physician during diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology studies, as well as during pacemaker and ICD implantations.What You Will Do in This RoleThe EP technologist will assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology studies. They will also provide support during the implantation of pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs).What Qualifications You Will NeedCandidates must have one of the following qualifications:A current license or registry certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).A current license or registry from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology and be licensed through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Registered Radiologic Technologist [RT(R)].New and existing staff with eight years of procedure experience may be considered, but they must complete an advanced registration/certification (RCIS or RCES from CCI) or obtain their Radiologic Technologist [RT(R)] license within one year of hire.Additional requirements:Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).Current ACLS certification from the AHA or completion within six months of hire.Strong interpersonal skills to successfully interact with patients, guests, physicians, and other employees.A minimum of one year of experience in an EP or cath lab.TriStar Centennial Medical Center is a 740+ bed comprehensive facility.
