We are committed to providing medications that are safe, efficacious, and timely—because getting the right drug to the right patient at the right time matters.Position Overview:ChristianaCare is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Supervisor to lead our Specialty Pharmacy operations. This role emphasizes leadership, mentorship, and subject matter expertise in all aspects of specialty pharmacy services.Key Responsibilities:Supervise a team of Pharmacy Technicians (I, II, III) and Access Coordinators to ensure smooth daily operationsAssist in hiring, onboarding, and training efforts for new pharmacy caregiversManage performance evaluations and quarterly check-ins for assigned staffEnforce departmental policies, including time and attendance, PPE usage, and HR proceduresCreate staffing schedules and maintain timecardsStep in to perform technician and coordinator duties during staffing shortagesOversee quality and process improvement initiatives aligned with URAC and ACHC accreditation standardsMonitor prescribing trends and medication pipelines to identify opportunities for contract enhancements or limited distribution drug accessSupport pharmacy students and residents under pharmacist supervisionParticipate in program development, policy review, and performance improvement initiativesFoster a Culture of Responsibility and maintain compliance with safety protocolsBuild and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to support effective communication and planningQualifications:High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or business preferredPharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification requiredMinimum 3 years of specialty pharmacy experiencePrevious supervisory experience preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Why ChristianaCare?Nationally recognized for quality and innovationSupportive, inclusive culture with opportunities for career advancementComprehensive benefits and professional development programsA chance to make a meaningful impact on the health of our communityReady to lead with purpose?Life is full of choices.
