Our client, a diversified multinational conglomerate that operates in several broad industries, is seeking a Distribution Project Manager to join their team. As a Project Manager, you will be part of the Global Logistics department supporting cross-functional initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and proven leadership experience which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Distribution Project Manager Location: Maplewood, MN Pay Range: Competitive Pay Rate Contract Duration: 12-Months Job Function: Manage and oversee complex, cross-functional supply chain and logistics improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and successful project outcomes. Drive project execution within distribution centers, focusing on operational efficiency, automation, and process optimization to enhance overall productivity and service levels. Develop, implement, and maintain project management standards, methodologies, and best practices across the organization to ensure consistency and high-quality project delivery. Lead multiple cross-functional project teams to successful completion of projects that are typically medium to large in scale with moderate risk and impact. Serve as a mentor and coach to existing and potential future team leaders, providing training on project leadership tools and methodologies. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, industrial engineering, business, or a related field. PMP certification or related Project Management/Lean Six Sigma certification. 8+ years of work experience in supply chain, distribution, or logistics. 5+ years of experience specifically in project leadership or operations excellence.
