Journeyman COMSEC Custodian

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Journeyman COMSEC Custodian to join our team in Doral FL. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Manages COMSEC material, ensuring compliance with all regulations for handling, storing, distributing, inventorying, and destroying sensitive communications security items.Maintains accurate records and accountability for all COMSEC transactions, conducting regular inventories and inspections to ensure material integrity and prevent unauthorized access.Assists with Key Management, supporting the control of cryptographic keys, including performing loading and re-keying operations under supervision.Supports COMSEC Account Management by helping to maintain accounts, preparing reports under senior guidance, and participating in audits.Provides user guidance and basic training to authorized personnel on proper COMSEC material handling and use, assists with awareness programs, and stays informed about policy updates.Minimum Qualifications:BA/BS degree or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree4+ years of experience with 2+ years of position relevant experience. Completion of relevant COMSEC training courses (e.g., NSA-approved custodian training).Desired Qualifications:Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired.Clearance Requirements:Must have a current/active TS/SCI clearance.Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
