Commodity Specialist Level 4

Designs, implements, and administers commodity acquisition strategy. Includes procurement support, commodity business plans, market trends assessment, pricing, and product availability.  Develops negotiation strategies to create a win-win relationship between the company and suppliers.  Assists in identifying new, high potential suppliers on a global basis.  Frequently interacts with peers and customers to gain cooperation of others or conduct presentations of complex technical information/project activities.  Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise.  Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires and in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
