With a strong emphasis on vendor collaboration, attention to detail, and order resolution, we foster a solution-oriented environment that supports both professional development and operational success.How you'll contributeA Senior Specialist, Purchasing who excels in this role:Maintains responsibility for order creation from requisitions specific to a group of suppliers or categoriesMonitors order transmission and confirmations to ensure timely deliveryCollaborates with suppliers to resolve backorder and order issuesProcesses order amendments and updatesSupports supplier inquiries and requests related to purchasingResponds to inquiries from care sites regarding specific ordersProvides guidance, planning, and task oversight for others on the teamMaintains regular and reliable attendancePerforms other duties as assignedWhy join usWe believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care. Additional qualifications include:2-3 years of supply chain operations experience in a hospital or healthcare settingStrong business math skills, including computation of rates, percentages, and ratiosIntermediate technical computer skills (databases, spreadsheets, systems)Effective communication with the ability to present and resolve complex issuesExperience in project or team oversight, with ability to delegate and manage multiple tasksFamiliarity with healthcare regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA) preferredLifepoint Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
