Description:Department: Nuclear MedicineLocation: Cartersville Medical CenterShift: PRN, as needed, day shift RESPONSIBLE FOR: Performs diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures according to all Protocols, Policies and Procedures and adhering to A.L.A.R.A. programs. Performs all quality control procedures in accordance with manufacturer, state and federal guidelines.#GD #LI-POST #IND789Qualifications:MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by either the Joint Review Committee on Education Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:NoneMINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:Either CNMT or NMTCB registeredADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:BLS Certified.Possesses a thorough knowledge of radiation safety guidelines and radiopharmaceuticals as needed to perform and process Nuclear Medicine examinations.
