Description for Internal Candidates   Mailroom Quality Control Associate Location: Lexington, KY Pay rate: $15 per hour Schedule: Monday - Friday 10:30 am – 7:00 pm (Clean desk policy rule)   About the Mailroom Quality Control Associate: We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Mailroom Quality Control Associate to support our mail processing operations. This role is responsible for reviewing batches of mail to ensure address accuracy and compliance with postal standards. The ideal candidate is comfortable with repetitive tasks, high-volume workloads, and working independently in a fast-paced environment.   Key Responsibilities: Review batches of approximately 100 letters at a time to identify and remove mail pieces that do not meet USPS address standards (e.g., missing street address or ZIP code). Sort and separate rejected mail into designated bins for further handling. Perform quality checks on both machine-stuffed and hand-stuffed mail. Maintain consistent pace and accuracy throughout the shift to meet piece-rate expectations. Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high attention to detail. Adhere to daily schedule, arriving promptly at 10:30 AM and completing tasks by 6:00 PM.   Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Comfortable working in a high-volume production environment. Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail Ability to work 2nd shift and flexible hours based on business needs. Comfortable with piece-rate compensation structure. Be eligible to work in the United States Must be able to clear any necessary criminal background check and/or drug screening. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive.
