Postage Machine Operator Location: Lexington, KY Pay rate: $15 per hour Schedule: Monday - Friday 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm (Clean desk policy rule)   About the Postage Machine Operator Role: We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Postage Machine Operator to support high-volume mail processing operations. This role involves operating postage machines, preparing mail for dispatch, and ensuring timely delivery to the dock for nightly pickups. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is self-motivated, and comfortable with physical tasks and piece-rate performance tracking.   Key Responsibilities: Operate postage machines to process approximately 15,000–17,000 letters daily. Organize and prepare mail by placing processed letters into trays and sleeves, then loading them into APCs (All-Purpose Containers). Scan batch headers to accurately track piece-rate performance. Remain on your feet for extended periods throughout the shift. Collaborate with team leads to transport APCs to the dock for scheduled mail pickups, ensuring arrival by 9:30 PM each night. Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety protocols.   Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Comfortable working in a high-volume production environment. Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Comfortable with piece-rate compensation structure. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Be eligible to work in the United States Must be able to clear any necessary criminal background check and/or drug screening. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive.
