Role Overview: Sodexo is seeking our Custodial Manager to lead the team at Wabash College in Crawfordsville, IN. Our successful candidate will excel at building a cohesive team, developing individual talent and mentoring our frontline hourly staff into our next generation of salaried manager. Hours are typically 6:00am-3:00pm, M-F with the occasional night or weekend event.  What You'll Do: Ensure a safe working environment or all employeesLead the Early Morning Shift in Custodial ManagementWork 6:00am-3:00pm, primarily Monday-Friday with occasional eventsProvide immediate response to client concernsDevelop improvement plans for any deficienciesBe a critical thinker, adapt to a changing environmentOrder and maintain proper levels of supply and equipmentDemonstrate willingness to perform at a high level in a team environmentPerform all trash and recycle removal on and at designated off campus sitesProvide a clean and safe environment for clients, customers, visitors, and staffManage a team of 20+ employees including timely interviewing and following procedures for hiringEnsure customer satisfaction in housekeeping services, waste removal, and campus event managementOperate custodial equipment including but not limited to wet and dry vacuums, extractors, buffers, sprayers, auto scrubbers and electric carts What We Offer: Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience.
