Micro Center is seeking an organized, proactive, and highly collaborative Localized Marketing Specialist to support our Director of Digital Marketing and marketing leadership team. This role is designed for a marketing professional who thrives on connecting brand strategy to local execution and is passionate about driving community-level engagement across multiple markets. You will oversee localized marketing efforts for all 29 (soon to be 30) stores, building and maintaining store-level marketing calendars in partnership with the Sr. Integrated Marketing Specialist, managing local partnerships, coordinating localized campaigns (email, SMS, etc.), and leading event activations such as grand openings for new stores. Acting as the point person for localized marketing and event efforts, you will work cross-functionally with Integrated Marketing, Merchandising, Store Merchandising, Marketing Operations, and Web Development to ensure campaigns are executed seamlessly. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and execute localized marketing strategies for all stores, ensuring alignment with chain-wide campaigns and brand standards. In collaboration with the Sr. Integrated Marketing Specialist, maintain and manage localized marketing calendars for each store, ensuring deadlines, deliverables, and communications are met. Identify, secure, and manage partnerships with local companies, organizations, universities, and media outlets to amplify store-level marketing initiatives. Develop co-marketing opportunities with partners, including joint promotions, sponsorships, and event collaborations. Negotiate partnership agreements and ensure fulfillment of marketing deliverables. Build and maintain a database of local partners, vendors, and sponsorship opportunities across all store markets. Act as the primary liaison between partners and internal teams to ensure alignment on brand standards, messaging, and execution. Evaluate partnership performance, providing reporting and recommendations for ongoing or future collaborations. Coordinate localized out-of-home marketing efforts, such as billboards and local sponsorships. Lead planning and execution of store marketing events, including grand openings and community activations. Serve as the primary marketing liaison for new store launches, coordinating cross-functional efforts and acting as the point person for event execution. Collaborate closely with the Integrated Marketing Specialist to align on messaging, campaign planning, and overall execution. Partner with Merchandising and Store Merchandising teams to integrate product promotions and in-store marketing assets and collateral with localized marketing efforts. Work with Marketing Operations and Web Development teams on localized email campaigns, SMS/MMS campaigns, web banners, landing pages, and other marketing activations. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Required 3+ years of experience in marketing, with a strong focus on retail, localized marketing, or partnership-driven campaign management. Demonstrated success in building and managing partnerships with community organizations, local businesses, or media outlets. Proven ability to plan and execute multi-location marketing programs and events. Strong project management and organizational skills; adept at managing multiple store calendars, deliverables, and priorities simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across internal teams and external partners. Highly detail-oriented, with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on execution. Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related fields. Experience working in retail or multi-unit organizations with a strong emphasis on localized engagement. Background in sponsorships, event management, or co-marketing partnerships. Familiarity with in-store marketing assets and collateral (e.g., signage, displays, POP materials, digital screens). Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to evolving priorities.
