They verify that all enrolled students possess valid lesson and lift tickets corresponding to their designated ski program and date. They create group classes using a handheld device by scanning student lesson tickets, ski instructor IDs, and GPS tags. They are also responsible for organizing groups according to program type, ski ability level, and assigned hot chocolate and lunch locations/times. Finally, they maintain the cleanliness and organization of Snow Park Lodge and Plaza while providing exceptional guest service. RESPONSIBILITIES: Navigate the flaik application on handheld and desktop devicesPerform duties across various indoor and outdoor locationsVerify class lists and make manual adjustments as needed between DVSS and flaik applicationsEnsure the class information and data imports correctlyAssist instructors with critical situations, questions, and flaik user login/password issuesEnsure scanning equipment is functioning properly and ready for useProvide assistance with questions and resort informationMaintain Snow Park Lodge and Plaza areas in a clean and organized conditionOther duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS Minimum 18 years of ageMust be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions for various time periodsExcellent communication and guest service skillsAvailable 7 days a week - work 5 days, 4 - 8 hours per day, based on business needsComputer proficient (Microsoft Word, Excel, and web applications)Strong multitasking abilities with attention to detail and follow throughOrganized, motivated, and able to maintain a positive attitude during high-stress timesAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsDEER VALLEY SKIER SERVICES EXPECTATIONS: Demonstrate a strong work ethicFunction as a team playerInteract professionally and positively with all team members, employees, and managementCommunicate suggestions or concerns to management in a timely mannerMaintain professional speech and conduct while on dutySupport/follow Deer Valley resort policies and procedures and employee handbook guidelinesServe as a positive role model with a supportive demeanorDATES OF EMPLOYMENT: Mid-November - mid-AprilPAY RATE: $20.00 per hourDeer Valley Resort is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
