We operate with integrity, sustainability, and a commitment to excellence—because doing the right thing is at the core of our mission.Are You Ready for Your Next Career Challenge?The National Security Sector at Leidos is seeking a Database Administrator to is to support the development of AN/SQQ-89A(V)15 system operational manuals and training products created within databases associated with US Navy ships in support of Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS 5B). Primary ResponsibilitiesOracle database administratorProficient in developing ad hoc reports from database tablesProficient with Linux, and script writingExperience in understanding and applying DISA STIG guidance, and its impact on the database systemAbility to interact effectively with developers, system end users, and the US Navy CustomerBasic QualificationsRequires BS and 2+ years of prior relevant experience (additional experience, education and training may be considered in lieu of degree).Excellent written communication and grammatical skillsExcellent organizational skills.Experience working directly with operational SMEsAbility to collaborate effectively across multiple teamsUS Citizenship required.Clearance Required: must have and be able to maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.Preferred QualificationsSystem LAN operation and administrationExperience with NAVSEA programs and their lifecycle supportTravel may be required for this positionExperience working with Moodle, Blackboard or similar dashboard productsAt Leidos, we don’t want someone who "fits the mold"—we want someone who melts it down and builds something better.
