As the Case Review Analyst, you will review cases completed by case workers determining benefit eligibility, document errors, and provide detailed feedback regarding cases.What You’ll DoStrong working knowledge of Federal laws, rules, regulations, standards, and State Policy related to how the public assistance programs are administered by the Division of Social ServicesInvestigate and document constituent complaintsIdentify fraud or abuse in the public assistance programs, and know how to report it appropriatelyReview cases completed by case workers determining benefit eligibilityDocument errors and provide detailed feedback regarding casesProvide details regarding training opportunities based on error trends to managementMaintain confidentiality in all situationsCommunicate with clients regarding their case as necessaryProvide answers to questions from Case Workers regarding cases at handAny further duties assigned by managementWhat You’ll NeedRequired:Minimum of one year case management or processing programs of assistance for State government experienceMinimum of one year determining compliance with State and Federal laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures, or related experienceMicrosoft Office SuiteData Entry experienceAttention to DetailOutstanding organizational skillsGood analytical skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsWell organized with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesSolid interpersonal skills, ability to work on a teamAbility to drive work to completion and escalate when necessaryTeam oriented individuals that want to make a difference in the communityTransportation to/from office, dependable and on timeBe available to work a minimum of one Saturday a month if necessaryPreferred Skills:Strong written and verbal bilingual communication skillsOnBase experiencePhysical Demands Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standardsSedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitorThe pay range for this position is $20 - $22 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education.
