Description   Job OverviewWe are working with a law firm in Great Neck who is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in office management and administration, with proven experience in supervising staff and managing various office functions. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties Maintain office services by organizing the office operations and procedures, preparing payroll, controlling correspondence, filing systems, reviewing and approving supply requisitions, and assigning and monitoring clerical functions. Assist with HR company to update and maintain office policies as necessary, office discipline, 401(k) and benefits administration Organize office operations and procedures Ensure that all items are invoiced and paid on time Manage contract and price negotiations with office vendors Experience with QuickBooks and general accounting Ordering supplies Source and recruit new hires as needed Monitor staff performance including assigning responsibilities Manage contracts and communications with vendors 5+ years’ experience required Experience Proven experience in office management or administrative roles Familiarity with QuickBooks for financial management tasks Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead a team effectively Experience in legal office management is a plus Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all tasks Proficiency in schedule management and clerical duties If you are passionate about creating an organized and productive work environment while leading a dedicated team, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity as an Office Manager.
