Description Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Greenville-Spartanburg-Anderson, SC (On-site) TGC Executive Search is conducting a confidential search on behalf of our client for a strategic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This is a local, on-site role based in Spartanburg, SC, ideal for a finance leader with deep expertise in the staffing, payroll services, or professional services industries. What You’ll Do Lead financial strategy, planning, and analysis to support growth and profitability. Oversee accounting, treasury, tax, and compliance functions. Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting aligned with GAAP. Partner with executive leadership to guide strategic decisions. Manage external relationships with banks, auditors, and advisors. Support M&A activities and integration efforts. Build and mentor a high-performing finance team. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred). 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience. Prior CFO or senior executive finance experience in staffing or professional services is required. Strong operational and strategic finance skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
