More about our team Operating room is collaborative team of surgeons, anesthesia, technologists, and registered nurses. One to one patient ratio. Numerous specialties including robotics, cardiovascular, orthopedics, plastics, OB-GYNE, neuro, urology, and trauma. Huge perk is getting to know the surgeons here and being able to request them to care for family members etc. How you'll contribute A Director (RN) Surgical Services who excels in this role:Works closely with all emergency services staffEstablishes positive relationships with patients/families and visitorsPerforms aseptic surgical techniques while functioning as a surgical assistant for trauma alerts/proceduresResponsible for the proper collection of most specimens used in laboratory analysis within the scope of their knowledge and experience (Phlebotomy, POC testing)Performs point of care testing, and follows appropriate quality control proceduresAssists with the admission, transfer and discharge of patients as appropriate including the transporting of patients throughout the facility Why join usWe believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care. What we're looking for Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a health related field and state Registered Nurse Licensure.
