MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Program Manager to join our team onsite in Lexington Park, MD. This is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite and 1 day remote.The Senior Program Manager will play a pivotal role with high visibility, responsible for orchestrating a complex, multi-disciplinary program at the cutting edge of advanced military training activities.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:In partnership with our stakeholders, define the program vision, strategy, and long-term roadmap. Translate complex technical requirements and business needs into a coherent and executable planDrive the end-to-end execution of the program lifecycle. Manage scope, schedule, budget, and resources for large-scale, interdependent projectsProactively identify, track, and mitigate risks and dependenciesOrchestrate and lead a diverse, cross-functional team of [e.g., hardware engineers, software developers, research scientists, QA, operations]Foster a collaborative environment and ensure seamless communication and alignment across all teamsServe as the primary interface for the program. Clearly and concisely communicate program status, risks, and key decisions to all levels of the organization, from individual contributors to C-suite executivesWhile not expected to be the deepest technical expert, you must possess the technical acumen to understand core challenges, facilitate trade-off discussions, and ensure that solutions are technically sound and scalableOwn and manage a multimillion-dollar program budget. Conduct resource planning and allocation to ensure program objectives are met efficiently. Manage relationships with key vendors, contractors, and strategic partnersChampion and implement best practices in program management. Continuously refine processes to improve program predictability, efficiency, and quality of outcomes in a highly technical and often ambiguous environmentAbility to travel approximately 25% of the timeMinimum Qualifications:Master's Degree in a technical or business discipline10+ years of experience in defense acquisition, with a strong background in NAVAIR and/or NAWCAD program management, engineering, or flight testDemonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and serve as a liaison between technical, acquisition, and operational communitiesWeapon School and/or Test Pilot School GraduatePreferred Qualifications:Operational experience as a pilot in a tactical aircraft platform, such as the F/A-18Direct experience working within the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD)Experience with advanced weapons, sensors, and software integration programsExperience with Navy SAP programsClearance Requirements:Must have a current and active Top Secret clearance, with SCI eligibilityPhysical Requirements:The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
