In this dynamic, hands-on role, you'll assist with the daily operations of our children's and youth ski and snowboard programs-both indoors and on the snow. From helping little skiers get geared up to supporting instructors with group transitions, your work ensures a safe, smooth, and fun experience for our youngest guests. The KLC Support Crew will follow the guidance of the on-duty Support Crew Lead and KLC Supervisor Team to fulfil roles such as KLC Rental Tech, Student Runner, Student Entertainer, Food Server, Check-In Desk Attendant, and on-snow instructor support. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Follow the direction of Support Crew Lead and KLC SupervisorsAssist with daily check-in/check-out procedures for KLC lessonsHelp children gear up and transition between indoor and on-snow activitiesSupport instructors during lessons equipment needs, behavioral issues, and group management needsSupervise indoor play, lunch, and rest areas to ensure a fun and welcoming environmentMaintain cleanliness and organization of KLC facilities, including gear storageEscort children to and from learning areas and assist with lift line organization as neededCommunicate clearly and professionally with parents, instructors, and supervisorsMonitor safety at all times and report concerns promptlyThis job description is an overview of the scope of responsibilities and is not intended to be an inclusive list of job tasks and expectations. KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS Enjoy working with children in an active, outdoor settingFriendly, patient, and team-orientedAble to work outdoors in winter weather for extended periodsReliable and punctual, with strong attention to safety and detailPrevious experience in childcare, youth programs, or guest service is a plusPrevious experience in a ski and ride school is a plusMust be available to work weekends and holiday periodsPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS This position may be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays while in operation.Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 50 pounds on an occasional basis.Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other common office equipment on an occasional basis.Auditory and visual acuity to communicate with computers, phones, and mobile devices and basic office equipment on a constant basis.Ability to work for extended periods of time while on skis/snowboard.Able to spend long periods outside without breaks in a variety of weather conditions. (Minimum 2 hours)To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
