This individual will be a part of our People & Talent team based out of our Charlotte, NC office and provide support to our company across the US. The Payroll Administrator's primary responsibilities will be to ensure accurate information is entered into our payroll system and respond to payroll-related questions. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure. If you are looking for a career where you can use your problem-solving and organizational skills to make an impact…APPLY TODAY Responsibilities:Responsible for daily uploads from proprietary software into the payroll system for new hires and changesResponsible for adding information into the payroll system that is not captured by the daily upload, including but not limited to EEOC, direct deposit, and tax information. Manage all payroll error reports from the proprietary software and ensure errors are cleared for paymentResponsible for notifying the field of any address changes received through the payroll systemResponsible for the processing and responding to wage garnishments and support ordersConducts employment verifications and reference checks as requested.Assist with responses to employee payroll issues & inquiries promptly and enforces all corporate payroll policies.Assist People & Talent team and Executives as needed or required.Qualifications:Must possess experience with Payroll systems; Workday experience preferred.Minimum of 2 years of work experience and internship experience in a payroll administrative role.Excellent computer skills such as MS Word, Excel, Access & Internet Explorer.Must possess excellent attention to detail.Professionalism, intelligence, and a sense of urgency are required.Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.Excellent problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and the ability to achieve detailed and accurate results under pressure.Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure.Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines.What we offer:Full-Time Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life)401 K/ RothVaction timeSick timePersonal daysPaid holidaysTraining and Career DevelopmentTituition reinbursmentShort Term DisabilityLong Term disability SPAR has over 50 years of experience in retail and consumer goods, serving some of the world's best companies.
