An active member of the marketing team and reporting to the Chief Marketing & Communications Officer, serves as the day to day contact with outside agencies to successfully implement marketing strategies by managing project flow. Position Requirements: Formal Education/Training/Experience: 8+ years of direct marketing/communications experience Bachelor's degree in communications-related field (journalism, marketing, digital marketing, public relations, etc.) Master's degree preferred Personal Job-Related Skills: Media management (including planning, buying & analysis) Content Creation Strategic Planning & Communications Storytelling Writing & Editing Critical Thinking Up-to-date knowledge/expertise with a wide array of marketing trends/strategies Proven track record creating and managing successful marketing strategies Project Management, ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environment Physical and Mental Requirements: Duties of the position require intermittent walking, sitting, and standing. The ability to meet deadlines and remain calm in a stressful environment. Key Results: Serve as day-to-day liaison with external partners—including marketing, PR, video, and photography agencies—to ensure alignment with brand standards, goals, and timelines. Act as a central hub for marketing initiatives, with deep knowledge of the health system's brand, service lines, strategic priorities, and community outreach. Collaborate with internal team members and agency partners to develop and execute strategic, integrated marketing plans. Project manage cross-functional initiatives, defining scopes, timelines, deliverables, and leading regular check-ins to keep work on track. Partner with other internal departments - especially Bone and Joint Institute of Tennessee, Williamson Health Foundation, and Williamson Health Medical Group—to support their marketing needs. Oversee execution of marketing projects, reviewing initiatives for brand alignment, resolving issues, and ensuring forward progress. Work with the team to monitor workflows and performance, keeping broad initiatives and individual tasks/projects on schedule. Attend meetings and give presentations as needed, both internally and externally. Help track and evaluate the effectiveness of major campaigns, collaborate on improvements, and manage the department's Quarterly Tracking Report. Support planning and development of brand-aligned content and campaigns that reflect services and strategic goals. Help foster a collaborative, accountable team culture, supporting colleagues and stepping in as needed. Stay current on healthcare marketing trends and tools, bringing forward ideas to enhance brand impact and team effectiveness.
