That’s why we give you a wide range of benefits to choose from.  All regular full time employees may enroll in a variety of health and welfare plans including medical, dental and vision plans.  Other benefits include life insurance, disability coverage, employee assistance program, and retirement program.  The company also has a variety of voluntary benefits for employees to choose from.CompensationResponsibilitiesProcess Certified PayrollTrack time for Prevailing Wage hourly employeesFollow-up with supervisors for Timekeeping approvalsGenerate weekly Certified Payroll Reports and submit to appropriate agenciesResolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information in PayTraxInterpret complex contract documents, delivery methods and agreements related to constructionAnalysis of certified payroll, prevailing wage and apprenticeship documents to ensure compliance with governing laws and Labor compliance programsInteract at all levels in the organization, maintaining positive and respectful relationshipsReview and organize information, materials, and details independently and effectively identifying deficiencies and requesting additional information if needed; take appropriate actionsSupport Prevailing Wage Payroll Manager with various tasks and projects as requiredEducationHigh School Diploma and some college business course work requiredRequirements/Qualifications3 years of prior certified payroll processing experienceKnowledge in State payroll rules and regulations for prevailing wage in CaliforniaWorking knowledge of MS Office, with proficiency in Outlook and ExcelAccurate, efficient and timely completion of all payroll deadlines and cut-off periodsExcellent analytical and written and verbal communications skillsStrong organizational and follow-up skillsAble to meet schedules and deadlinesPreferred:Previous experience with a large ERP system, preferably SAPConditions of EmploymentSuccessful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated on-going drug and alcohol testing.
