Shipping Manager  This role is not open for submissions from outside staffing agencies     Trulite is GROWING! We are looking for a Shipping Manager for our East Region. Trulite Glass & Aluminum Solution is your true single source for aluminum and glass products. We offer a complete line of architectural aluminum products, fabricated glass, decorative glass and mirrors. With 30 fabrication facilities throughout the United States and Canada and delivery on our own fleet of trucks it gives us flexibility to meet our customers’ needs. We have the products, equipment, and an experienced team to take project from design concepts with the architect to final installation by glazing contractor. We are committed to making sure our customers’ orders are on time, meet the project specifications and that we are competitive in the market to ensure that we are on time, on spec on cost.   What Brought You Here Salary: $65,000 - $85,000/year Quarterly safety bonus opportunities. Shift Days and Hours The position is M-F 8am - 5pm. Benefits starting DAY ONE! Who You Are:  An influential sales leader with the ability to drive the sales team to meet aggressive sales goals.  You have demonstrated proficiency in analyzing sales and customer data, identifying trends and developing sales plans and strategies to resolve any negative sales trends.  You have a proven track record of cultivating a strong hunter sales force that succeeds in competitive markets.  You have experience in a manufacturing environment  What You Will Be Doing:  Manages and monitors safety conditions in the shipping department to ensure compliance  Sets daily shipping goals, monitors, improves, and manages all aspects of the products getting to the customers on time without incidents Manages and direct the flow of packages from preparation to shipping Ensure all labels and completed orders and well organized and shipped as per the request Collaborate with Production Departments, Purchasing, Customer Service to optimize processes Resolve issues regarding shipping orders Oversees the inspection of products to verify conformance to Company specifications Provide timely and accurate feedback to customer service, production manager and supervisor to ensure completion of products for shipping Ensure on-time delivery and manage the flow of distribution to customers Report to management on activities and issues Continued assessment of shipping issues and improve efficiencies Perform other duties as assigned. Skills You Bring:  Proven experience as a shipping manager Solid knowledge of logistics procedures Must be able to effectively manage and supervise employees directing and evaluating skills for smooth shipping process Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Excellent customer service skills and able to work to achieve targets Assist with the coordination and control of all resources for a safe work environment Attention to details and problem-solving abilities Why Trulite:    Trulite offers the most comprehensive benefit coverage in the industry.
