Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Experience: • 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 12 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 9 months within the past 12 months. • 3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required after submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted. Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Additional Details: Preferred Skills/Experience: Telemetry experience Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: In addition to general med/surg competencies, it is preferred that applicants can Manage chest tubes, Manage non-titrated Cardizem and Amiodorone drips and Manage weight-based heparin drips Equipment Used on Unit: Baxter IV Pumps, KCI wound vacs, SCD pumps Unit/Facility Details: There is no shift differential for AM/PM. Number of Beds - 25 Special Requests: No Block Scheduling requests.
