Account Manager – Campus SecurityWage: $55,000-60,000/ yearPosition SummaryThe Account Manager – Campus Security is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day security operations, ensuring a safe and secure environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. This role serves as the primary liaison between the college and the contracted security provider, managing personnel, compliance, and service delivery to meet the institution’s safety goals.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Relationship ManagementServe as the main point of contact for campus leadership regarding security operations.Conduct regular meetings with college stakeholders to assess needs and adjust services accordingly.Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and responsiveness.Operational OversightSupervise and support on-site security supervisors and officer personnel, including scheduling, payroll, training, and performance discussions.Monitor daily operations to ensure compliance with college policies, state regulations, and contractual obligations.Coordinate emergency response efforts and participate in campus safety drills.Personnel ManagementCoordinate training for personnel, maintain quality control protocolsPromote a culture of professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement.Address personnel issues promptly and in accordance with HR policies.Compliance & ReportingEnsure use of the electronic reporting devices to maintain accurate records of incidents, patrols, and service metrics.Ensure proper documentation, post order requirements are up to dateEnsure all staff are compliant with Securitas and State compliance requirementsEnsure adherence to Clery Act requirements and other applicable regulations.Community EngagementFoster positive relationships with students, faculty, and staff.Support campus events and initiatives with appropriate security planning.Promote safety awareness through outreach and education.QualificationsMinimum of 2-3 years of experience in security management, preferably in an educational or public sector setting.Proven leadership and team management skills.Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.Familiarity with campus safety regulations (e.g., Clery Act, Title IX).Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.Prior law enforcement or military experience is a plus.Working ConditionsPrimarily on-site at the community college campus.May require walking or standing for extended periods.Occasional travel for training or regional meetings.
