Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Northwest Container Services, a Waste Connections company, is looking to hire a highly motivated, Heavy Equipment Mechanic to work on a variety of lifts, chassis and construction equipment. Pay range is $28-$35/HR DOE Schedule is Monday - Friday Shift is 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM with some overtime as needed.Safety Sensitive: YesRESPONSIBILITIES:Performs repairs and assigned preventive maintenance services.Diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, engine, transmission, suspension, differential, planetary, wet and air brakes on vehicles and equipment. Have basic computer / electronic skills.Utilize vehicle computer electronic systems and laptop programs for repairs.Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.Extensive physical activity.
